Saudi clubs are preparing new bids to finally land Mohamed Salah in January but this time on reduced terms.
Confidence is growing that the Egyptian star could now be persuaded to make the move after falling out of favour at Liverpool.
Funds are expected to be made available for at least two Pro League clubs to submit offers although nothing close to the £200M Al-Ittihad were ready to pay two years ago.
