The tragic experience of Aaron Ramsey after signing for a Pumas UNAM in Mexico.
Joined in July 2025 on a one-year contract.
Played just 6 times and scored 1 goal.
On October 9, his dog Halo disappeared after Ramsey left him in a dog-shelter in San Miguel de Allende when he joined his national team.
The cameras at the site mysteriously did not work.
He initially offered a $10,000 reward for Halo’s return, then doubled it to $20,000.
Several weeks passed and Halo was never found or heard from again.
Before leaving Mexico Ramsey said: "The cameras weren’t recording, no tracker found her, no sightings, no body, and a bunch of lies!"
The incident deeply affected him and his wife off the pitch, and he terminated his contract and returned back to the UK.
