Steven Gerrard has decided to withdraw from contention for the vacant Rangers manager's job.

He has decided the timing wasn't right and has removed himself from the process. 

However, conversations throughout were overall positive and a full agreement has also been reached.

Both parties have agreed to leave the door open for the future.
